Flag-Raising
At 10:30 AM (CT), Borderland Pride and Seven Generations Education Institute will host an event to kick-off Pride Month in the Fort Frances area.
Media and members of the public are invited to join us in the foyer at Seven Generations Education Institute’s campus at 1452 Idylwild Drive in Fort Frances, Ontario.
This event is open to the public. Brief remarks will be followed by a group photo, outdoor flag-raising, and coffee and refreshments.
Attendees will be required to adhere to the facility’s public health requirements. Public health screening is conducted at the entrances (look for the signs) and masks must be worn over the nose and mouth other than when consuming food and beverages.

Conversion Therapy Panel
At 5:10 PM (CT), Borderland Pride director and lawyer Douglas W. Judson (he/him/his) will participate in an online panel discussion hosted by the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association in recognition of Pride Month. The panel will discuss so-called "conversion therapy" and recent legislative efforts to criminalize and ban these practices.

Brock McGillis
At 7:00 PM (CT), Borderland Pride and the Fort Frances Girls' and Women's Hockey Association will host a special event featuring Brock McGillis, the first out gay men's professional hockey player.
Media and members of the public are invited to attend in person at the Memorial Sports Centre, 740 Scott Street in Fort Frances, Ontario.
